Slow Tracks

Level up your authentic ski experience in a natural mountain environment with Alta’s Slow Tracks, a daily add-on option that gives you exclusive access to Alta's slow chairlifts.

Upgrade to the slow lane.

For just $69 per day, you can upgrade your pass to ride Albion and Wildcat lifts, exclusively.

Since 1938, skiers have ventured to the end of Little Cottonwood Canyon to enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of Albion Basin and Collins Gulch. Mostly unchanged for 84 years, Alta understands the value of time spent connecting with nature. And what better way to enjoy the beauty of romantic Alta than a slow lift ride in the mountains.

Step away from the hustle and bustle of high-speed lifts and magic carpet conveyors and step back in time when life moved a little slower.

Slow Down. Listen. Breathe. And refresh your soul.

Slow Tracks Daily Upgrades | $69

The new Slow Tracks Daily Upgrade and Spring Pass allows Alta skiers to pay a little extra for a little more time on the lift.

Slow Tracks is a daily upgrade to any pass product at Alta Ski Area. Once your pass has been upgraded, you have access to ride exclusively the Wildcat and Albion lifts.

Benefits of Slow Tracks

Once you load Wildcat and Albion lifts, you'll have extra time to enjoy the many benefits of Slow Tracks.

  • It's a great opportunity to rest those legs before your next Alta sidestep!
  • Time to study the Trail Map and plan your next traverse!
  • Extra time to make a weekend parking reservation!
  • Plenty of time to catch a glimpse of the many birds that call this natural mountain environment home. We could rename the popular Birding on Skis, Birding on Slow Chairlifts.
