Many private companies provide ground transportation from the airport to Alta, which is a great option if you are staying in the canyon. The Utah Transit Authority (UTA) also has scheduled public ski buses that carry skiers to and from Alta all winter.
Uta Ski Bus
Alta Ski Area is easily accessible via public transportation, from the airport, hotel or home. When parking is full, the UTA Ski Bus may be the best way to get to Alta on busy days. UTA operates a free Ski Bus route between Alta and Snowbird.
Your 2024–25 Alta season passes include the UTA Benefit—including Ikon passes—and receive free ridership on all UTA Ski Bus Routes (includes Trax and other UTA bus services only when used in transit with a Ski Bus Route).
