Lift Ticket FAQs

Reservations, such as through Liftopia, must be picked up in person at any Alta ticket window. Please bring your confirmation email and a photo id.

Skiers that reload tickets online can skip the ticket window and go directly to the lift. This is awesome stuff, saving you both time and money. If you need to reload a ticket at the ticket window, please bring the Alta Card you would like to reload. An Alta Card is a hard, plastic card with a printed Web ID.

Instead of "half-day" passes, Alta offers Afternoon and Late-Afternoon lift tickets that can only be purchased from Alta ticket windows.

The Afternoon pass is valid from 12:30-4:30pm. The Late-Afternoon is valid from 2:30-4:30pm.

Unused lift tickets can be refunded online before midnight of your purchased ski day.  Login into your account to process your refund.  

Best pricing is available online when you buy four days ahead of the date you want to ski. Within four days, tickets are full price.
