The Alta Blue Angels is a two day program designed for intermediate women skiers, who ski on blue and green runs and are looking to improve their confidence and style. Developed by women instructors of the Alf Engen Ski School with women in mind.

Goals

• Become more relaxed and confident on your skis.
• Be less defensive.
• Add more gliding and flow to your skiing.
• Have more fun, more of the time and look good doing it.

This year, you can do more than "just keep up". Let our supportive staff of certified instructors clue you in to the fundamentals of women's techniques, tactics and equipment. We are committed to helping women reach thier full potential in an atmosphere that is fun, uplifting and motivating.

This is the occasion to encourage us to step beyond our present limitations and to discover new powers within ourselves. This is the spirit of our 6 week program for advanced intermediate through expert skiers. Each Thursday morning, you will explore Alta's world class terrain, while learning to dissect skiing movements and determine "what works" for the conditions that day. This will greatly expand your "bag of tricks" allowing you to be more successful every day you ski.

If you are NEW to the program, we would like to ski with you on December 17, 2009 for a ski orientation. This will allow you to get familiar with the mountain and for us to place you in the correct group. We will meet at the Albion Grill at 9:30 and ski till 11:00 for this orientation. If you are unable to attend, please call to confirm your skiing aspirations.
