Do I need to make reservations for children's Ski Adventure Center program or for the adult group lessons?

we do not take reservations. Participation
is on a first-come basis daily. Children register
and need to be in the Ski Adventure Center between
8:30 a.m. and 9:15 a.m. for the morning and all day programs
and 12:45 p.m. for the afternoon session. Adults need
to be at the appropriate meeting place 10 minutes
before the departure time. |

What age does my child have to be to participate in
the children's Ski Adventure Center programs? |

Our programs are for children age four through
early teen. Private lessons are available for children
under age four.

I need to make a reservation for a private lesson? |
|
Often,
we can connect you with a pro on short notice,
although we highly recommend advanced reservations.

I need to buy a lift ticket in addition to my
lesson? |
|
Yes,
however, the Children's All Day Ski Adventure,Private Adventures and Mountain Explorers packages
include lift tickets. Lift tickets are not included
in the children's half-day program or any adult
lessons, but can be purchased at any ski school
window when buying your ski school product. If
you are a first-time skier, a lift ticket is not
needed in our beginner area.

rental skis included with my lesson? |

No,
however, there are several ski
shops at Alta that
you can choose from.

do I determine what type of skier I am? |
|
There
are lots of options for all types of skiers. Our
website shows the different levels for children
and adults.
