Road Restrictions - UDOT Hotline 511 on cell phones Link...

There are times when Little Cottonwood Canyon Road, State Highway 210, may be restricted to travel. The Department of Transportation has an extensive avalanche control program in the canyon and when control work is in progress, the road will be restricted for travel. We have a radio station in the canyon, AM 530, that has up-to-date road information and canyon activities. It is required by state law that you carry chains in your vehicle or have snowtires on the vehicle from November 1st through May 1st.
